Solidstudio is a collective of skilled and enthusiastic developers committed to advancing the electric vehicle (EV) industry. Our team consists of dedicated software professionals with extensive experience in the eMobility field, covering both product and technology aspects. As a trusted technology partner, we are honored to be members of Poland's Software Development Association (SoDA). The company has nearly 50 employees, with over 30 actively engaged in developing eMobility products, either for our own projects or for clients. As the world pivots from traditional fuel sources due to environmental concerns, electric vehicles (EVs) are emerging as the future of transportation. This transition calls for innovative approaches across all facets of eMobility. Among these, software-driven solutions like eRoaming, connected car data, and smart charging are crucial and rapidly evolving. Smart charging represents a cloud-based system facilitating real-time energy optimization by exchanging data between chargers, vehicles, operators, and sometimes electricity providers. By analyzing factors like grid capacity, energy tariffs, and renewable availability, smart charging manages and adjusts EV energy use effectively. This adaptable technology ensures that growing EV demand doesn't disrupt power grids, maintaining seamless energy flow for all users while supporting sustainable mobility advancement.

Green Cell

Project Overview: We are developing a mobile application (along with a backend system) to manage and monitor Green Cell’s devices, aimed at creating a home charging ecosystem. The initial version prioritizes the management of the Habu mobile EV charger, which can be controlled remotely via a smartphone. The app facilitates the management of the charging process, device configuration, and includes an advanced statistics feature. Our Approach: The primary challenge we faced was designing a multi-product app intended for the entire ecosystem. Although the initial phase centered on the Habu mobile charger, we needed to plan for future expansions to include additional devices. To achieve this ambitious goal, we aimed to create a solution that is easily extendable without compromising user experience or system architecture. We focused on ensuring that the product, even during its development, would be scalable and adaptable for future enhancements, enabling the client to explore further business growth without needing to seek alternative solutions. Additionally, it’s important to note that the mobile charger we were working on, the Habu, was still under active research and development when we began our integration work. Green Cell was concurrently working on the device's firmware while we handled the backend and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration. **Project Overview** We are developing a mobile and web application with an admin panel to create a digital ecosystem that connects the entire electric vehicle (EV) driving community in Poland. This platform will enable users to engage and benefit from discounts provided by EV Klub Polska. **Challenges** This project, commissioned by the Polish Alternative Fuel Association (PSPA), part of the European Association for Electromobility (AVERE), is a standout in our portfolio, marking the first major eMobility initiative we have undertaken for a Polish firm—specifically, the largest eMobility company in the country. The project kicked off with workshops led by the client, where we established the architecture and user flows. Following this, we began our UI/UX work, which spanned the entire project duration. Our development efforts concentrated on key features such as user registration, login, profile management, support for free and premium accounts, the display of charging stations, benefits (discount codes) with mapping options, and news updates. A significant milestone was integrating with EIPA. Additionally, we designed a dedicated landing page and created static pages (such as a help center, contact information, and club member details) for the web application. **Our Approach** One of the primary challenges was to clearly define the scope of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and then transition to subsequently adding features incrementally. A notable success was assembling a proficient team that consistently evaluates solutions, remains flexible in focus, and is responsive to any changes. Through regular meetings, demonstrations, and ongoing communication with PSPA, we fostered an exemplary partnership that united us into a cohesive team in terms of design and implementation. **Outcomes** 1. A comprehensive digital eMobility ecosystem 2. EIPA integrations 3. Two applications: web and mobile

Ecosystem for digital charging CPO and EMSP App

Zimi Charge

The project focuses on creating a digital charging ecosystem that includes a Charge Point Operator Platform and an eMobility Service Provider application. This ecosystem facilitates the commissioning and management of charging stations and allows electric vehicle drivers to initiate charging sessions using RFID or an application, along with payment options. By utilizing open standards, the system is prepared for roaming connections. In this initiative with Zimi, we leveraged our digital products—the EMSP app and CPO platform. Our specialized eMobility team customized these products to align with Zimi’s branding and successfully launched them to the market. The EMSP app is now accessible on both the App Store and Google Play, while the CPO administrative console has been implemented in the client’s cloud infrastructure. The app enables users to find the nearest charging stations and allows EV drivers to search and filter options based on various criteria like power rating, distance, cost, and type. It also supports payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit or debit cards. Understanding the importance of open standards, we ensured that both products are interconnected and compatible with other market players through OCPI 2.2, with roaming connections established under the technical guidance of Solidstudio.
