New Web UX - Video Surveillance System

Unknown

The project was conducted in partnership with a company that specializes in video surveillance systems and was encountering difficulties with its live view feature for security cameras. The existing capabilities lacked the flexibility needed for clients to arrange their cameras to suit their individual requirements. SMT Solutions addressed this by creating a tailored solution that reworked the live view menu through a UI/UX Design project, enabling users to establish various viewing modes with complete freedom. Users could now choose the number and arrangement of cameras, as well as adjust the layout of rows, columns, and block sizes. The outcome was outstanding. The revamped live view menu allowed users to design and personalize multiple viewing modes. This enhanced flexibility and user-friendliness greatly boosted customer satisfaction. Additionally, integrating the redesign into the existing system menu made it easier for users to adopt this new functionality, which improved the security system’s overall effectiveness and increased user productivity.

Innovative Eye Tracking App Empowers ALS Patients

Unknown

Individuals with ALS and other debilitating conditions encounter daily obstacles due to limited or impaired movement. This decreased mobility impacts various aspects of their everyday life, making communication and independence particularly difficult. Recognizing the challenges these individuals endure, the team at SMT Solutions focused on accessibility research and eye tracking to develop an innovative communication system. After extensive research, they created an application that allows patients to communicate through touch and eye tracking. A standout feature of this system is its compatibility with any mobile device, utilizing the camera to track users' eye movements. This solution empowers patients who previously found communication challenging, enabling them to share their thoughts, needs, and feelings more easily and independently. The user-friendly and affordable application exemplifies how technology can enhance lives and open new opportunities for those facing restrictive conditions.
