OUR STORY
Smiley Honey, a family-owned business based in Wewahitchka, Florida, has been delivering exceptional honey for over three decades. Founded in 1989 by Donald, who discovered beekeeping later in life, the company flourished with over 1,000 beehives producing prized tupelo honey. After Donald’s retirement in 2012, the honey bottling operation changed hands, eventually being acquired in 2022 by Will and Wandi Oosthuizen, who restored the full beekeeping and bottling enterprise in Gulf County. Nestled amid the wetlands of the Florida panhandle, Smiley Honey continues to honor its heritage by offering raw, unfiltered, and cold-extracted honey, renowned for its rich nutritional value and distinct flavor. Committed to quality, fair pricing, and customer satisfaction, the company proudly shares nature’s sweetest gift from their family to yours.
