1UNi - An Education Company

1UNI

**CHALLENGE SUMMARY** **Student Perspective:** - There exists an intangible barrier in student mobility. - There is a lack of guided support and information. - Reliable information sources are missing. **University Perspective:** - Opportunities are lost due to information gaps. - Connecting with potential students poses challenges. - There is a need for a platform to bridge these gaps. - Application volumes are overwhelming. - It is essential to align offerings with student interests. **SOLUTION STRATEGY:** **Comprehensive Data and Resource Consolidation:** The 1UNi platform was developed, featuring an extensive database with over 3,000 courses and more than 120 universities in Malaysia. This innovative and user-friendly tool allows students to effortlessly search for, compare, and apply to universities. **User-Centric 1UNi Platform:** The platform was designed to be visually appealing and to aggregate crucial information in a single location. User experience was prioritized with straightforward processes and easy navigation. **AI & Automation System Integration (SDBL):** The Student Digital Body Language (SDBL) was introduced, marking Malaysia's first AI and automation system for higher education. SDBL evaluates student behavior and interactions on the platform, allowing for AI-backed recommendations of student candidates based on their actions rather than mere inquiries. **RESULTS:** These initiatives have produced significant outcomes: The 1UNi platform offers a secure, transparent, and efficient means to streamline the university application process. Students now have a single access point for comprehensive information regarding courses and universities in Malaysia, enabling them to make well-informed choices. The 1UNi platform's user-focused design has made the search and application journey more straightforward, leading to greater user satisfaction. Furthermore, the incorporation of AI and automation through SDBL has provided universities and agents with critical insights into student behavior, resulting in more effective outreach and communication strategies.
