Australian Leadership Index

The Australian Leadership Index (ALI) is a significant national research initiative that offers an in-depth overview of leadership for the public good in Australia, spanning government, public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Since 2019, Sky High Digital has collaborated with Swinburne University of Technology to help the ALI reach audiences nationwide through online, social media, and email channels. The project commenced when the ALI research team sought an online marketing agency to develop a brand identity, including custom logos, color schemes, and a fully functional website. Over time, the partnership expanded from website development to managing their entire digital marketing strategy. In 2021, after successfully overseeing the ALI's marketing for several years, a brand refresh was deemed necessary. It became clear that a new website platform was required to accommodate both research articles and the interactive dashboard created by our partners at Dassier, necessitating a complete website migration. Our team promptly began planning for this migration, ensuring that every phase was executed carefully to maintain the index's organic search visibility and optimize SEO during the redesign process. Upon completion, the website redesign yielded quick improvements, reducing the bounce rate by 13.61% in the first year and increasing unique visitors by 28% year-over-year from 2020 to 2022. The site now ranks #2 for "Australian Leadership" and #3 for "Leadership In Australia," which is a fantastic outcome and a testament to the SEO and web design work accomplished for the ALI research team as their preferred online marketing agency.

AA Diesel Truck Bodies

Since 2016, we have been collaborating with AA Diesel Truck Bodies to enhance their online presence. Recently, the business reached a point where it could invest more significantly in digital marketing. With this increased budget, we focused on expanding their existing digital footprint, emphasizing growth and conversions. We began by conducting a thorough audit of their current marketing efforts, assessing aspects such as website user experience, search engine optimization, search advertising, and social media engagement. Despite previous successes, we discovered numerous opportunities for improvement across all channels, as well as the potential to introduce new ones. To kick off the enhancements, we migrated their website to a new platform, acknowledging that improper management of such migrations could adversely affect SEO and organic search visibility. We planned the migration over four weeks, ensuring a careful and precise transition with minimal impact on search rankings. Rather than simply relocating the site, we undertook a complete redesign, aiming to improve usability, interactivity, and visitor engagement, which ultimately increased the conversion rate by 54% compared to the previous year. On the social media front, Facebook and Instagram were already performing well, but the increased budget allowed us to invest in paid outreach, enabling us to attract potential new customers and encourage them to engage with the brand. Through sponsored content and paid advertisements, we succeeded in doubling our Instagram audience within about 12 months, achieving a 123% increase.

Chloe Wild Beauté Studio

Chloe approached us at the beginning of 2021 with plans to establish a new boutique beauty studio in St Kilda, Victoria. She shared her vision for the website's design and atmosphere, emphasizing the need for a stylish yet edgy aesthetic to attract a youthful, trendy, and professional urban clientele. Given the limited budget for the website's initial creation, it was crucial to get it right from the start and build a strong foundation for future digital expansion. We began by thoroughly researching the industry, examining potential audience demographics, analyzing competitors and their online presence, and gathering design inspiration from fashion and art websites for our initial ideas. Next, we created a brand style guide, preliminary wireframes, and design elements for the website. We then collaborated closely with Chloe, making adjustments to ensure she was completely happy with the aesthetics. Following that, we performed comprehensive keyword research relevant to the industry, using this information to inform the website's content and copywriting. We worked iteratively with Chloe throughout this stage to ensure the site reflected her brand vision and services. Once the website was finalized, we integrated her chosen appointment booking system, enabling real-time client bookings.
