Signal Shift Labs is a small software studio comprised of two individuals that specializes in creating production-ready minimum viable products (MVPs) for entrepreneurs and small enterprises. Our process takes products from concept to deployment within a span of 8 to 12 weeks. The team includes David Ugale (CTO, with over 25 years of full-stack engineering experience, previously with Sony Pictures and certified by AWS/Meta/IBM) and Ray Kang (CRO, formerly a senior sales leader at Tesla). You will interact directly with the team members who build the products—no project managers, junior developers, or offshore transfers are involved. We offer three types of engagement: 1. Discovery Sprint ($5K-$8K, 2 weeks): A low-risk approach to validate your idea through technical architecture reviews, feasibility assessments, and development of a working prototype. 2. MVP Build ($30K-$60K, 8-12 weeks): A complete full-stack product developed and launched to production, featuring a modern technology stack, clean code, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) from day one, and ready for investors at launch. 3. Growth Retainer ($10K-$15K/month): Ongoing senior engineering support for teams that need to accelerate their projects without hiring full-time staff. Our portfolio includes projects like MyFavoriteBands, a music social network with over 363,000 artist profiles and AI-driven recommendations, completed in 12 weeks; MercuryList, an event management platform featuring Stripe payments, scheduling, and automated reminders; and a Memorial Platform developed in Go with PostgreSQL for creating tribute pages for individuals and pets. Each project is delivered with authentication, CI/CD pipelines, error monitoring, mobile-responsive design, and a clean architecture that can be easily picked up by future engineers without requiring a rewrite.
