OUR STORY

We collaborated with Synamedia to take over and enhance their existing WordPress website through a continuous improvement approach, focusing on evolving and optimizing their online presence. Early on, we implemented a modern deployment process using GitHub Actions to automate code updates to their WP Engine-hosted site, ensuring synchronization across development and live environments and reducing errors and downtime. A pivotal achievement in our first year was supporting the launch of Synamedia's new product, Senza, by designing a refined product page that subtly advanced the site's design language while maintaining brand consistency. Additionally, we addressed numerous site issues and expanded content editing flexibility, empowering the marketing team with improved reusable layout options for ongoing enhancements.

Supercharging legacy systems for Casio Education

Casio Education

Casio is a prominent provider of technological solutions for the education sector, dedicated to enhancing students' learning experiences by incorporating technology into classrooms. With a team of experts and an emphasis on innovation, Casio is constantly creating new and efficient solutions that make technology more accessible and practical in educational settings, ultimately advancing the learning experience. We collaborated to overhaul their online presence, consolidating all their educational offerings onto a single platform. Through a customized API integration, we connected the website with legacy systems, replacing some entirely and migrating all data. Users can now effortlessly explore support materials, download emulators, save resources to their personal library, and book training sessions, all in one place using the WordPress CMS.

We developed distinct UK and US versions of the website, ensuring that the majority of the content was automatically replicated in both languages while permitting modifications for regional differences. The currency also changes automatically based on the selected language. These adjustments have enhanced the website's SEO, and the Loyalty Lion team has complete authority to publish updates on both versions at the same time and to feature different content in various regions. Additionally, to guarantee that these changes remain effective and pertinent over time, we offer continuous support to the team to promote the ongoing enhancement of their site.

Elder Development and Migration

Elder

Initially, we established a new site layout on WordPress utilizing Gutenberg blocks. By leveraging Contentful’s API, we devised a custom process for "interrogation" and "translation," ensuring that data from Contentful was accurately transcribed into the WordPress platform. This method significantly expedited the migration of over 1,000 pages of content to just a few minutes, rather than requiring a manual transfer of each page. We designed the new site to be as sustainable as possible and are providing ongoing support to keep it relevant, secure, and progressively enhanced. Given that Elder's audience may include seniors, accessibility was a critical factor. The new site’s HTML markup incorporates all necessary tags that screen readers can interpret, boosting the website’s accessibility score on Google Lighthouse from 71% to 99%. Despite the complexities involved in the migration, the complete rebuild and transfer were accomplished in just three months. Elder now benefits from a more flexible and efficient method to update and share content on their site independently, and the enhanced performance of the new website facilitates better user engagement with the content.
