Bedrock Analytics, a US-based firm, is a significant competitor in the global retail analytics market, particularly in the area of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) data analysis. Problem Description: The initial project involved two primary objectives: containerization and migration to Kubernetes to lower expenses associated with Amazon services. However, the project became more complex due to the need for a multi-cloud approach, necessitating the deployment of Bedrock Analytics' technology stack on both AWS and Microsoft Azure using the same code base. Their aim was to expand internationally and collaborate with larger partners that required infrastructure based on Microsoft Azure. A factor that facilitated the project was the clear understanding from the customer’s side—Navdip Bhachech had a thorough grasp of Bedrock Analytics’ requirements and the scope of work, which made communication effective. The main challenge was the uniqueness of the solution, as Bedrock Analytics sought to implement a multi-cloud deployment for the same application, a relatively rare request.

The Bank of Georgia (BoG) is a prominent player in the banking and financial services industry. It boasts an extensive network of branches and ATMs across Georgia, along with representative offices in London, Budapest, and Tel-Aviv. As one of the largest employers in Georgia, BoG actively contributes to healthcare, education, the environment, and various crucial social matters. Problem Statement: While banks can be quite traditional in some respects, they must also embrace modern trends to stay competitive. To achieve this, BoG aimed to become a technologically advanced institution. Recognizing this need, they set out to make their systems cloud-ready to ensure long-term viability. Consequently, they began searching for a contractor to assist in reaching these objectives. We were tasked with designing a robust Kubernetes-based platform that would enable the creation and management of infrastructures, allowing BoG to migrate their microservices. A critical requirement was that the system needed to be fault-tolerant, capable of supporting business-critical applications, and ensuring high availability across all architectural components. Additionally, the solution must adhere to stringent security standards, integrate seamlessly with existing security and authentication systems, and be housed within BoG's own data centers.
