King Living Offshoring Success Story

Unknown

**Business Challenge** Retailers are facing the challenges of tighter labor markets, rising labor costs, and growing consumer demands. King Living, a global furniture retailer based in Australia and established in 1977, needed an effective solution to stay competitive, fulfill their staffing requirements, and support their Customer Care team in Australia. They opted for offshoring to the Philippines as a long-term strategic solution to address these issues. They were in search of a knowledgeable partner to assist in the implementation of an offshore talent strategy focused on scalability and cost-efficiency. **Solution** Establishing a highly skilled and dedicated offshore team in the Philippines was crucial for enhancing King Living's customer support while lowering operational costs. Partnering with Satellite Office, they developed a Customer Service team comprised of five members in the Philippines, leading to notable improvements in their customer care operations. They soon recognized the need to expand their team to include additional staff in finance and accounting, sales, eCommerce support, IT, and logistics. Currently, their offshore team has expanded to 37 members, with plans for further growth in the future.

QEnergy Case Study

Unknown

**Overview:** QEnergy is an electricity retailer operating in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. Traditionally focused on business electricity solutions, QEnergy also provides various options for residential customers. **Our Solution:** The company faced numerous challenges, particularly increased competition from new players in the B2B energy sector. Nevertheless, QEnergy aimed to invest in growth for the future. To tackle these challenges, they engaged with Satellite Office. With Satellite Office's support, QEnergy successfully positioned itself in the B2B energy market, allowing it to effectively compete with established companies. The two organizations collaborated on a three-phase implementation for their Collections, Customer Service, and Sales teams. Satellite Office managed the entire rollout, which included training, onboarding, and integration with existing staff. By working closely with QEnergy's management, Satellite Office was instrumental in recruiting skilled leaders for the offshore teams. The leadership team's recruitment, onboarding, and training were prioritized to ensure effective team management. Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) were conducted to evaluate operations and provide recommendations for sustained team performance. Following a comprehensive review, Mojo Power, which operated its own offshore team, recently acquired QEnergy. Satellite Office has been selected as the preferred partner, and tasks are transitioning to ensure a seamless integration.
