Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)
Description 1: Design and copywriting for the annual report, including a new marketing communication approach for the Das Crude blend aimed at international markets.
Description 2: Development of brand guidelines for their Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) divisions. This involved establishing consistent design and branding protocols for ADNOC’s subsidiary companies, ensuring adherence to global best practices. ADNOC Distribution needed a corporate guidelines manual that would encompass an updated set of uniform designs and standards. The project involved gathering information from various ADNOC subsidiaries through surveys to tailor each section for its stakeholders. Each division underwent research and redesign, resulting in detailed, approved uniform specifications included in the guidelines.
Project Details: Creation of ten animated safety awareness videos featuring ‘Falco,’ the company mascot, intended for external communications. Sandpaper collaborated with the ADNOC Health and Safety Department to develop the storyboards and manage the production of these animated cartoons.
Project Highlights: Challenges included collecting data from all subsidiary divisions. Solutions involved scheduling meetings with senior managers over a two-week period to gather the necessary information. As a result, corporate guidelines were established, aligning ADNOC with international 'best practice' standards, inspired by the benchmarks set by BP and Shell.
