Supply Management System for Medical Service
About Client: Briggs Diagnóstico offers diagnostic imaging services such as radiology, tomography, resonance, and ultrasound. Their operations depend on a steady supply of medical materials, necessitating close coordination between technical and administrative teams.
Challenge: The organization previously managed medical supplies using manual methods, heavily relying on spreadsheets, handwritten requests, and informal team communications. Reordering decisions were made based on experience rather than data, and there was limited visibility into inventory. Additionally, coordination between technical and administrative functions was ineffective, leading to challenges in tracking stock levels, managing supplier orders, and maintaining consistent workflows across various storage sites.
Solution: We performed an in-depth analysis of the supply chain, focusing on procurement, storage, and consumption processes. Based on our findings, we redesigned the operational workflow by establishing storage zones, clarifying responsibilities, and standardizing information flow among teams. In addition to the process redesign, we created a customized inventory management system that meets the specific needs of their services. This system enables users to oversee stock, monitor usage, and generate reports.
