With over 20 years of experience, Rudi Backart has distinguished herself as a versatile designer, delivering award-winning branding and marketing solutions across diverse media. Her extensive client portfolio spans Fortune 500 firms, financial institutions, global wineries, and individual entrepreneurs, all valuing her creative practice—intentionally small yet broad in expertise. Beyond design, Rudi is an accomplished artist holding an MFA in painting from Western Michigan University and further honing her craft in Positano, Italy. Her recent large-scale oil and wax paintings on linen captivate audiences with dynamic layers of color, gaining recognition both nationally and internationally. After 26 years in Chicago, Rudi now resides and creates art in Corrales, New Mexico, sharing her life with her husband, their two cats, and three Roan Quarter Horses.
