OUR STORY
TruckDriver.com stands as one of the internet's pioneering driver recruitment sites, originating in 1996 as a passion project before the web was widely recognized. Founded and run by seasoned truck drivers Brian and Vona Thomforde, who began their journey in trucking in 1975 and expanded their fleet significantly by the mid-1990s, the company has grown into a comprehensive online platform. Recognizing early on the internet's potential, Brian registered TruckDriver.com to connect drivers and employers more efficiently. By 2001, having transitioned fully to this venture, they overcame skepticism about drivers' internet use to establish a vital recruitment hub. Today, TruckDriver.com serves trucking companies across the U.S. and Canada, offering quality job networks and resources tailored for professional drivers and owner-operators.
