GETTING STARTED The Challenge Teaming up with the owners of Downlights.co.uk, GSM quickly pinpointed areas in their current marketing campaigns that could be enhanced and began the process of revamping their PPC campaigns. With carefully managed ad spend budgets and ambitious ROI goals, GSM's teams aimed to optimize performance swiftly while collecting data as the new campaigns progressed. As month-on-month ROI increases became clear to Downlights.co.uk’s owners, additional ad spending enabled further expansion of PPC efforts alongside extra services and models to maximize profitability. WHAT WE DID Our Strategy Our PPC approach involved several phases, starting with reconstructing the campaigns under controlled ad spend to achieve the desired ROAS (return on ad spend) from the owners of Downlights.co.uk. This was followed by rapid optimization and expansion of the campaigns as data was gathered. We utilized a combination of Search Ads, Google Shopping, and Dynamic Remarketing and incorporated Kenshoo for enhanced efficiency through its advanced automation, predictive capabilities, and integrations to boost PPC performance. Our Approach To establish a well-thought-out strategy and create a work plan, our SEO and Digital PR Teams conducted an in-depth analysis using tools like Google Analytics, Moz, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Majestic, and various other specialized software. This meticulous examination revealed several opportunities, leading to strategies aimed at enhancing Onsite Content (through optimization and new landing pages), addressing various technical issues impacting Core Vitals, making conversion rate optimization (CRO) recommendations to boost user experience (UX) and engagement, and finally, implementing a Back-linking Program. SEO & Digital PR Work Plan Based on the detailed analysis of AGA RangeMaster’s website content, our SEO and Digital PR teams created a comprehensive Work Plan. This plan outlined all the initial activities and tasks to be undertaken, clearly defining their purposes and objectives. While some parts of the plan were to be executed by the in-house team, others required additional resources or assistance due to their technical complexity, which our teams handled. This process helped uncover further opportunities, leading to enhancements in Onsite Content, the resolution of technical issues, CRO recommendations for improving UX, and the initiation of a Back-linking Program.
