About the Team
OUR STORY
relative.berlin dedicated nine months to developing the XR Security Lab, a VR experience integrated into BeLIFE, a research initiative under Germany's 'Research for Civil Security' program, funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). Their mission was to translate civil security research into practical applications by creating five detailed urban scenarios for safe, repeatable civil security training in virtual reality. Leveraging Reallusion's tools—Character Creator, iClone, and ActorCore—their lean team of three efficiently generated immersive environments featuring AI-assisted crowd generation, video motion capture, and automated lip-syncing. Collaborating closely with project partners and supported by the Reallusion team, relative.berlin achieved a scalable, cutting-edge professional 3D workflow, marking a significant advancement in VR training and simulation.
