Marketplace testing for the Healthcare company

**Summary:** Reactive Hive offered testing services for a technology and pharmaceutical trading company, focusing on the Magento CMS platform. The testing services included functional (smoke and regression), UX/UI, compatibility, API, integration, and localization testing over a span of 10 months with a team of 2 manual QA engineers. **Challenge:** The company requested a dedicated QA team from Reactive Hive to provide ongoing testing support to enhance their development team's output. Key features included: - 11 distinct store views for each country in which they operated - Unique product catalogs for each store without overlapping items - Complete page translations for each store - Integration support for GA4 and Facebook business accounts in the marketplace - One-step checkout with custom payment options - Integration of an external blog **Tools and Platforms:** Jira, Confluence, Slack, Postman, Browserstack, Figma, Monosnap, HotJar analytics, and GA4 analytics were utilized. **Results:** Reactive Hive produced comprehensive testing documentation and supported the implementation of a complete website redesign along with its key features. Each deployment underwent a rapid smoke test for all store views, followed by regression testing in staging and UAT environments. Testing also encompassed all integrations (such as Google Analytics and tracking pixels), with data consistency validated during API interactions. The production environment was verified post-deployment. The marketplace was successfully launched on schedule without any critical issues. In addition to the testing, the QA team conducted weekly analyses using HotJar to track user behavior on mobile and desktop, providing improvement recommendations to the business analysts for optimizing the user experience.

Testing services offered include functional (smoke, regression), UX/UI, compatibility (cross-platform), API, integrations, and localization testing. **Team**: Composed of 3 QA engineers. **Tools**: The team utilizes Jira, Monosnap, Postman, Microsoft Teams, Browserstack, developer console, FileZilla, NetSuite, TaxJar, and Stripe. **Challenge**: Reactive Hive was tasked with supplying the company with a dedicated QA team to provide ongoing testing support aimed at enhancing the deliverables of the development team. **Project Features**: - Maintenance and improvement of the core marketplace solution - Delivery and support of client projects - Assistance for active projects - Implementation of integrations **Outcomes**: From the outset of our collaboration, key QA processes were established (with workflows modified to reflect the QA role), ensuring consistent testing support for both core module enhancements and project deliveries. Beyond testing, the QA team utilized Fullstory to analyze user behavior across mobile and desktop platforms, generating improvement recommendations for the business analysts team and optimizing the end-user experience. Additionally, management of technical issues was handled promptly, with reported issues from the team or customers being quickly processed, resolved, or assigned to the relevant technical team member with clear instructions.
