Website strategy, content creation, and Webflow development for Bakertech, a NABCEP-certified solar consulting company that assists homeowners and contractors in making informed and secure energy choices. **Overview:** Bakertech is a solar consulting and inspection firm based in the U.S., offering independent, NABCEP-certified services to homeowners, homebuyers, and solar contractors. The objective of the project was to create a fully responsive, SEO- and AEO-friendly website that effectively communicates Bakertech's value, attracts qualified leads, and educates potential clients about the dangers of improperly sized or installed solar systems. The website needed to strike a balance between technical expertise and approachability, establishing Bakertech as both a knowledgeable authority and a reliable advisor in the clean energy sector. **Approach & Solution:** I initiated a thorough discovery phase to align the content structure with Bakertech's actual customer journey, from recognizing their problems to being ready for solutions. Utilizing wireframes and understanding user intent, I developed a UX-focused page hierarchy (including Home, About, Services, Success Stories, Contact, FAQ, and Training Courses) with customized copy optimized for both SEO and AI search discoverability (AEO). The website's architecture was thoughtfully crafted to convert potential clients into booked consultations and training course enrollees through persuasive calls-to-action, storytelling through case studies, trust signals, and content rich in keywords. Each section, including FAQs and success stories, was designed to aid lead generation while educating visitors about the risks of incorrectly installed or inadequately sized systems. The site was created and developed in Webflow with a focus on scalability, adhering to best practices in accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and performance optimization. Additionally, I provided assistance with visual content planning, metadata configuration, and schema markup to ensure strong technical SEO and enhance social sharing capabilities.

NEED IT | Shopify Store Design and Development

NEED IT Store

NEED IT approached me with a clear objective: to create a Shopify store that not only looked appealing but also functioned as an effective growth engine from the outset. The project began with a blank canvas—lacking structure, templates, and SEO groundwork. I took the lead in developing everything from scratch. I focused on designing the site’s architecture to ensure that each aspect of the store, including navigation and product pages, was user-friendly, quick, and geared toward conversions. I tailored the theme, constructed reusable Liquid components, enhanced product templates, and established clean, scalable collection structures. Every element was crafted to promote future growth without incurring technical debt. Simultaneously, I laid the necessary SEO groundwork for the brand to enhance its visibility. This included optimizing metadata, indexing signals, internal links, and schema. I organized and refined the product information to ensure that both search engines and customers could easily comprehend it. The end result was a fast-loading store that achieved better rankings and was equipped for both organic and paid marketing efforts. Throughout this journey, I collaborated closely with UI/UX and Brand designer María Zambrano to ensure the store was in line with their brand vision and marketing strategies. I offered guidance on best practices for product organization, content structuring, and long-term optimization, ensuring they had a robust foundation for growth. By the completion of the project, NEED IT had a sleek, scalable Shopify storefront that was technically solid, SEO-optimized, geared for conversions, and fully equipped for catalog expansion and marketing initiatives.

SpanishVIP | Content Marketing and SEO Strategy

SpanishVIP

SpanishVIP is an American startup based in Colombia that provides online Spanish lessons. I was responsible for building and developing their website, blog, and content strategy, which helped them emerge as one of the leading companies in the e-learning sector. In my role as Content Marketing Manager for SpanishVIP, my primary objective was to increase organic traffic and conversions through SEO. Although SpanishVIP delivers high-quality language education, it struggled to attract organic traffic and differentiate itself in a competitive e-learning landscape filled with established competitors such as Babbel, BaseLang, and Lingolia. The challenges they faced included a lack of organic visibility due to being a new startup with an underdeveloped online presence, minimal organic traffic, and intense competition within a pandemic-driven saturated online language learning market. Additionally, their absence of a structured content strategy hindered their ability to engage users interested in Spanish courses or educational materials. To address these issues, I devised a strategy that began with optimizing the SpanishVIP website and blog for SEO. This involved refining website architecture, enhancing site navigation, and improving user experience. A key component of my approach was conducting detailed keyword research to target a substantial number of low-competition, mid-to-high-volume long-tail keywords specific to their niche. This strategy allowed us to harness the lower traffic potential while achieving cumulative positioning across a broader range of keywords and covering areas that competitors overlooked. As a result, we managed to rank for some of our keywords in Google's featured snippet.
