How Our SEO Strategy Achieved 123% Traffic Growth
Our client, located in Toronto, Ontario, faced challenges getting their quality content featured in Google's snippets. They sought our assistance to enhance their WordPress site for improved SEO.
**Challenge:** The client’s 30-page WordPress site needed optimization to secure a spot in Google's featured snippets using a list of specified keywords. The aim was for each page to appear in the Google featured snippet for long-tail keywords.
**Solution:** We applied our expertise in semantic SEO to create a thorough strategy centered on customer research and targeted content creation. Here’s our approach:
**Keyword and Question Research:** We employed tools such as Answer the Public, Quora, Reddit, Google Autocomplete, and the "People also ask" and "People also search for" sections on Google to identify long-tail questions related to hair removal services and products.
**Content Creation and Optimization:** We compiled a list of 10 to 15 questions for each of the 11 blog posts on the site, totaling about 120 questions. We developed detailed answers for every question, ensuring they addressed semantic topics and met the audience's needs.
**Implementation:** Our strategy was implemented with a focus on customer research before conducting keyword analysis, emphasizing the intent of searchers. We began by understanding the four key aspects of target customers: persona, pain points, journey, and terminology.
**Results:** By mid-June, following the execution of our strategy, the website experienced a remarkable rise in organic traffic. Monthly visitors surged from 6,700 in May to 15,000 in June, reflecting an impressive 123.88% increase in traffic. This boost was primarily attributed to our emphasis on customer-focused content and strategic internal linking.
