OUR STORY
Founded in 2014 by Beth Wilson and James Gilchrist as Graphic Design Festival Scotland, INTL has evolved into a premier global platform championing creative industries. Originally addressing educational gaps through a festival connecting students, professionals, and industry leaders, it has grown into an expansive community featuring workshops, competitions, and exhibitions. With over 230 events, 56,000+ poster competition entries from more than 110 countries, and millions reached annually, INTL fosters collaboration, skill development, and celebrates creative excellence worldwide. It operates key programs including an international festival, a poster competition, and creative awards—all designed to empower emerging talent and bridge education with industry. Passionate about design and culture, INTL thrives as a supportive, globally connected network built on innovation and friendship.
