Perks Loyalty Program

A loyalty program focused on perks sought a new technology partner to enhance the user experience on their website and mobile application. With the mobile app lacking a proper continuous integration (CI) system and the back-end code written in Python 2.7 nearing the end of its support life, it was necessary to migrate all microservices to facilitate the upgrade to Python 3. We successfully launched the revamped platform and integrated it with their new partners. Additionally, we equipped their internal development team for success by providing training and onboarding for the new tools and technologies.

Temagami Systems

Temagami Systems assists utility companies, their clients, and other stakeholders in promoting energy conservation. They collaborate with more than 30 electric utilities in Ontario to manage upwards of 100,000 grant applications through the Save On Energy Retrofit Program. They approached us to create a new platform that would facilitate real-time collaborative support for these grant applications. We designed their website to be mobile-friendly and enhanced its capacity to handle increased traffic. Consequently, submission rates have risen, with applications now being processed within days. This improvement has allowed them to surpass their competitors, enabling both applicants and utility companies to save time and lower support expenses.

University of Toronto

The University of Toronto required a modernized solution for tracking graduate progress for over 17,000 students, enabling online request submissions and faculty monitoring. Facing a tight three-month deadline and an influx of new graduates in the fall, we recognized that the previous technology, even with enhancements, would be inadequate. We suggested a complete revamp of both the back-end and front-end applications, redesigning the user flow to feature a simplified set of intuitive and user-friendly screens. Logins were integrated with the University of Toronto’s central IT, allowing students to use their existing credentials. The current system has far surpassed all expectations.
