Beginning from the ground up, a team of twelve specialists at Quanterall was deeply involved in the fundamental blockchain development. Their objective was to create an alternative implementation of the æternity protocol using Elixir. A significant benefit of the Elixir SDK was that it incorporated Erlang libraries to enhance features. Additionally, our engineers had the exciting chance to program Sophia Smart Contracts that support both fungible and non-fungible tokens, utilizing the official Æternity blockchain language. The team also collaborated with Cardano and employed Marlowe to develop the Actus protocol for drafting finance-related contracts pertaining to leasing and credit. Among the many projects they completed, one of the final innovations was an enhanced version of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, termed the “AEVM” (Æternity Ethereum Virtual Machine).
