OUR STORY
Pursuit Films, founded by Cherokee filmmaker Jeremy, is dedicated to advancing Indigenous representation in cinema. Jeremy has co-created and helmed the acclaimed docu-series "Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People," which has garnered 16 regional Emmys, and produced award-winning shorts like "Totsu (Redbird)." The company champions Indigenous stories through projects like the Cherokee language animated series "Inage’i (In The Woods)." Complementing Jeremy’s vision, Lead Producer Brooke Allen utilizes her artistic and environmental design background to create impactful multimedia, especially via collaborations with the First Americans Museum. Ty Clark, an Emmy-winning editor and musician, brings over 15 years of experience to the team, while Emmy-winning filmmaker Nick Buttram emphasizes community-focused Indigenous storytelling.
