Emex is a global marketplace for auto parts that developed its own automated services to link customers, suppliers, and dealers. The company has opted for significant changes: boosting marketplace sales, assisting existing partners in enhancing their profits, attracting new partners, and expanding into additional countries. Various technologies were utilized to create automation services, but they became challenging to maintain, develop, and integrate with one another. While working on Emex products, we created a design system that improved the speed of developing new products and updating existing ones. Seller Drive — Supplier portal by Emex

Emex

Emex is a major marketplace for auto parts located in Dubai. Each day, suppliers deliver over 50,000 auto products to the Emex sorting facility. The challenge was that suppliers provided price lists along with their goods to the Emex manager, who then uploaded these to the website. Attracting new suppliers was difficult, necessitating an increase in management staff. Furthermore, price lists were seldom updated, leading to outdated offers and resulting in order cancellations by buyers. To address this issue, we developed a portal that allows suppliers to easily create offers, manage orders, and provide delivery notifications on their own. As a result, the frequency of canceled orders dropped from 30% to 7%, and an unlimited number of suppliers can now join the marketplace. Emex

Emex is a major marketplace for auto parts, with suppliers delivering over 50,000 automotive products to its sorting center daily. One of the main issues faced is the delay in goods delivery. The reasons for these delays include a lack of motivation among suppliers to deliver on time and errors made by drivers during the delivery process. To address this issue, research was conducted that led to a redesign of the interface, the creation of clear instructions, improved navigation in the delivery area, and an emphasis on the importance of timely deliveries to suppliers.
