OUR STORY
Munky.in began its manufacturing journey in 1971, founded by the late Shri Shashank Shekhar, an IIT Bombay graduate who started with sheet metal parts in Faridabad. Recognizing evolving market needs, the company expanded into hand tool production in the 1980s and later ventured into automotive tool kits, coinciding with India's Maruti boom. In 1995, Mayank Shekhar, an MIT Manipal graduate and current CEO, joined and introduced automation to elevate production. Spotting opportunities in food packaging, the firm developed computerized controls and comprehensive pouch packing machinery for granules and powders.
