Twiplomacy - World leaders on social networks

Twiplomacy is a platform that analyzes the social media presence of global leaders. Curious about who ranks as the 5th most influential world leader on Twitter? Twiplomacy has the information you seek. The objective of this project was to revamp and modernize the Twiplomacy website. We collaborated closely with our client to identify essential features of the previous site and develop an updated set of capabilities aimed at enhancing user engagement. A robust backend tool for managing and updating thousands of data points, along with the integration of a map and a ranking system, served as the foundation for the project. Twiplomacy has a longstanding tradition of using infographics to present their findings, and we chose to build on that aesthetic for the new website. Eye-catching visuals and dynamic elements contribute to making the site more appealing. Throughout the development of the Twiplomacy website, we recognized the need to collect social media posts in real-time from various platforms. To achieve this, we created a service called Post Aggregator, which allows us to monitor and receive updates from multiple users seamlessly. Our focus is on metrics that validate our efforts and inform future strategies: a 12% reduction in bounce rate, a 49% increase in daily pageviews, and a 47% rise in average time spent on the site.

Vodafone - Rinback Tone Plus mobile app

The aim of the project was to bring Ringback tone technology to Vodafone service users. At that time, we only focused on the Android application. The app featured two primary functions: users could either purchase a song to set as their Ringback tone or record a message to surprise their callers. During client workshops, we brainstormed several entertaining features to engage end users. Users have the option to select a song to entertain their callers and assign it to specific individuals or all of their contacts. Additionally, they can record a brief 5-second message for individual callers. Moreover, users can choose to use just the recorded message or a blend of both the recording and a song. Even before Snapchat popularized their filters, this app offered voice filters—allowing users to sound like Darth Vader if they wished. The app has been downloaded millions of times and has maintained an average rating of 4.2.

McDonald's - State-of-the art face-recognition and kiosk experience

Participants first input their data and meal preferences using an onsite tablet or mobile app. The next phase involved positioning users in front of an ordering kiosk, while a large screen nearby displayed the process when the recognition software was activated. As the user's face was scanned, the software identified their gender, estimated age, and emotional state. Along with considering the time of day and current weather, it provided tailored meal suggestions. Since this was a demonstration and an innovative exploration, specific metrics cannot be shared publicly.
