A Modern Website for Aspiring Young Entrepreneurs

Futurpreneur is a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to assisting young entrepreneurs in starting their businesses while providing them with the community support necessary for their journey. We developed a scalable and adaptable website to facilitate their ongoing growth throughout Canada. The site includes an enhanced user experience aimed at boosting lead generation and places a stronger emphasis on entrepreneurial narratives and essential resources. It was created with an easy-to-manage content management system (CMS) to streamline administration and updates. We built a WordPress website that better serves their community with a contemporary user experience. By assessing content pathways and improving the information architecture, we simplified the user journey and connected previously hidden content. This approach allowed visitors to find the information they needed with fewer clicks. The success of this project can be attributed to:

Southern Futures: An Activated Archive

Carolina Performing Arts (CPA) was founded in 2005 and works with vibrant artists from around the world to develop innovative, mission-focused performing arts experiences in collaboration with the community. Southern Futures is a collaborative initiative that connects students, scholars, creators, and community leaders who are making significant contributions to rethinking the American South. This initiative aims to promote equity, justice, and potential by leveraging the arts and humanities to inspire positive transformation in Carolina's local region. CPA required a digital archive for Southern Futures, so we created a platform using WordPress to showcase its projects and artists while offering resources for educational purposes. We brought these engaging narratives to life with a unified design that includes thoughtful animations, promoting ongoing exploration. The success of this project stemmed from several factors: we emphasized discovery sessions to effectively organize and structure the diverse network of information; we built a custom WordPress CMS for ease of use and flexibility for administrators; and we incorporated thoughtful animations to enhance user navigation and emphasize CPA's impactful content.

Canadian Race Relations Foundation

Established in 1996 by the Canadian government as a Crown Corporation, the Canadian Race Relations Foundation emphasizes the principles of justice and equality for everyone in Canada as part of the Japanese Canadian Redress Agreement. Its mission focuses on developing systemic solutions and promoting anti-racism policies through collaborative engagement, raising awareness, and encouraging mobilization. The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) required a website redesign to effectively reflect its growth and evolution over the past ten years, during which it has become a leading national authority in anti-racism efforts. Aiming to enhance user engagement and improve conversion rates, we emphasized modern design practices and refined their content strategy. To better assist administrators, we transitioned their content management system to WordPress and created modular content blocks for increased flexibility in their ongoing development. The project was successful because it fostered an intuitive user experience to promote exploration and improve conversion rates, streamlined content to engage users and strengthen connections with the organization, and produced a modular web design that provided flexibility for administrators and supported organizational growth.
