Aslan is a mobile-first financial technology solution that allows employees to access their earned wages whenever needed, while ensuring full compliance with employer payroll systems and app store regulations. The platform enhances employees' financial wellness and engagement, while assisting employers in improving retention, productivity, and overall workforce satisfaction in a secure and regulated environment. Developing Aslan required working within a closely monitored financial framework, where adhering to PCI compliance and safely managing sensitive information was crucial from the outset. The platform also needed to integrate seamlessly with various third-party services and payment providers while delivering an uninterrupted user experience. Ensuring strong security measures, high availability, and resilience was vital for the protection of both employees and employers. Additionally, the mobile applications had to incorporate dynamic force updates to keep pace with changing regulations, platform requirements, and App Store and Play Store policies, all without disrupting users. The integration of various third-party services was key to Aslan's functionality and dependability. Tribe Payments managed essential payment processing while maintaining strict PCI compliance and strong transaction flows. Mea Wallet facilitated secure user wallets and balance management, necessitating consistent data integrity and real-time synchronization that adhered to platform-specific security and UX standards for smooth, compliant payments across devices. A key focus of the product was to provide a reliable camera-first experience, enabling the capture of consistent, high-quality images across various devices while maintaining a quick and intuitive user flow.
