Portfolio

Elevating BCG Brand Visibility

Boston Consulting Group

Our team developed a strategic thought leadership initiative aimed at enhancing the visibility of BCG's industry specialists. This initiative seeks to engage in conversations about important topics within the energy value chain by utilizing data-driven insights that influence the industry both currently and moving forward. By collaborating with top-tier global media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg, and by fostering relationships with key influencers, Pierpont effectively raised BCG's content and thought leaders in the awareness of clients, prospective clients, and the broader industry.

BP Diversity and Inclusion Survey

BP

BP engaged Pierpont and our global agency partner, MSLGROUP, to carry out a survey focusing on female representation in the energy sector from the viewpoint of oil and gas professionals. The survey also assessed the industry's overall efforts in fostering workplace diversity. We collaborated with Rigzone, a prominent online platform for the oil and gas sector, and BP to disseminate the survey findings to internal stakeholders, external influencers, mainstream media, and energy trade publications. The global branded survey and the subsequent Global Diversity and Inclusion Report effectively established BP as a thought leader in the field of diversity and inclusion. Over 3,000 energy professionals participated in the survey, with responses from 26% based in North America, 24% in Asia Pacific, 17% in the Middle East, 14% from Europe, 12% from Central and South America as well as the Caribbean, and 7% from Africa. Our media relations efforts resulted in 31 news articles, generating an Advertising Value Equivalent (AVE) of $454,715. Notable coverage included outlets such as Press and Journal, City AM, Chemical Engineer, Houston Business Journal, and a live interview featuring Kirsty Bashforth on BBC Radio Scotland. Additional highlights of the campaign included a live webcast attended by 200 participants, with another 154 viewing the archived version. An article by Rigzone detailing the survey results and report attracted over 10,050 views.

Halliburton Communications Integration

Halliburton

Halliburton is among the largest global providers of products and services for the energy sector. The company sought to establish extensive communication channels for mergers and acquisitions across its various divisions to enhance employee engagement. Pierpont aimed to create communication materials regarding mergers and acquisitions, along with an integration strategy for a multi-billion-dollar global division. They developed a communication integration program following the acquisition of Pinnacle Technologies and actively participated in launching a global employee engagement initiative. The communication channels for mergers and acquisitions in key divisions were reinforced. Additionally, the global employee engagement program named "Evaluate Reservoir, Deliver Well" saw participation increase by more than 700 percent within just 90 days.
