About the Team
OUR STORY
Peter Pawlak, the design principal of his eponymous studio, began his architecture career after graduating from The Cooper Union. He spent a decade at Gwathmey Siegel Architects, collaborating on award-winning residences with Charles Gwathmey, a key figure credited with introducing modern homes to the Long Island Hamptons. Influenced by Gwathmey's modernist legacy, Peter developed a warm and elegant interior style that balances the strong architectural lines with softness. Since establishing Peter Pawlak Design Studio, he has led it with a focus on clean, sophisticated modernism that clients have valued for over ten years. His dedicated team includes senior architect Carol Chang, designers Wan-Jen Tsai and Aisa Osako, and collaborators like metal worker Eric Anderson, resin artist David Lindberg, and master craftsman Jessie Goode.
