Augmented Development - Fullstack Web App for UNDP

United Nations Development Programme - UNDP

Summary The Augmented Development Panel was created as an administrative add-on for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)'s Augmented Development mobile app, which was also developed by Perspektiva 360. This platform enables the registration and management of markers, geolocated sites, and all resources featured within the app. Challenge Our task was to develop a robust administration platform that could effectively manage and control the augmented reality features of the 'Augmented Development' mobile app. We needed to ensure the web application could support multiple markers and seamlessly update and incorporate new content. Solution Our team designed the 'Augmented Development Panel,' a user-friendly web application for administrators. This panel allows users to upload and organize 3D models, holographic videos, images, and other assets associated with geolocated markers. Furthermore, we introduced a real-time update feature, ensuring that any modifications made in the panel would immediately appear in the 'Augmented Development' mobile app for users. The platform was also built with a scalable architecture to accommodate future growth and ongoing content enhancement. Conclusion With the 'Augmented Development Panel,' UNDP's administrators can keep the mobile app current with the latest resources related to sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This administrative platform serves as a valuable tool for promoting transparency and ensuring effective management of UNDP's mobile app at all times.

Augmented Development - AR Mobile App for UNDP

United Nations Development Programme - UNDP

Summary: UNDP's Augmented Development is an augmented reality (AR) application created by Perspektiva 360 in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It enables users to explore their community's public sphere and sustainable development simply by using their phone's camera. Challenge: The UNDP aimed to deliver a distinctive and user-friendly mobile experience that encourages transparency, education, and awareness regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Solution: Our team understood UNDP's requirements and developed Augmented Development, a mobile app equipped with AR features that supports 3D models, holographic videos, images, graphics, and more. It includes a dropdown menu providing detailed information about each displayed element. This scalable application is optimized for both iOS and Android platforms and can handle extensive content, making it a flexible tool. The app is currently accessible on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Conclusion: The creation of Augmented Development effectively fulfilled the UNDP's aim of providing an engaging and easily reachable experience, serving as a valuable resource for bridging information gaps and enhancing understanding of sustainable development. The app aspires to be a significant tool for utilizing augmented reality technology to foster a sustainable future.

Súbete al Bus - VR App for UNDP

United Nations Development Programme - UNDP

Summary: 'Súbete al Bus' (Get on the Bus) is a virtual reality (VR) application created by Perspektiva 360 for the 'Súbete al Bus' initiative, which is part of a broader strategy by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) that complements the 'Micro-franquiciando por Colombia' web series focused on promoting entrepreneurship. This application was designed to highlight inspiring stories related to the microfranchise model throughout Colombia. Challenge: Our task was to transform the narrative from two videos into a fully immersive virtual reality experience named 'Súbete al Bus', which aimed to replicate the feeling of boarding a bus in Colombia while effectively highlighting the 'Micro-franquiciando por Colombia' web series. Solution: Our team developed an engaging 3D bus environment featuring the unique branding of 'Súbete al Bus'. Users are seated in a virtual bus environment behind an interactive screen, allowing them to watch the episodes of the 'Micro-franquiciando por Colombia' series as if they were actually on a bus journey. The VR application was specifically designed for Oculus Quest devices, ensuring optimal design, performance, and scalability for future updates. Conclusion: By simulating a bus ride, our VR app successfully linked the idea of 'boarding a bus' with engaging with Colombia's microfranchise model. The 'Súbete al Bus' application has been featured at UNDP microfranchise events nationwide, showcasing the effectiveness of immersive technologies in promotional and marketing efforts.
