Eargym is a startup focused on helping individuals take better care of their hearing through various assessments, training games, and educational resources. The issue at hand is that 1 in 6 adults in the UK experiences hearing loss. The eargym app is designed to assist users in identifying hearing problems and enhancing their hearing health. It primarily targets the elderly who naturally experience hearing loss, those working in noisy environments, and anyone who feels their hearing isn't optimal. Perpetio was tasked with redesigning the app and incorporating new hearing health features, along with integrating Unity games and providing support. Additionally, the Perpetio team committed to the ongoing deployment of new features, which involved research on hearing health. To address these needs, Perpetio developed a workflow and delivery system that effectively scopes and introduces features requiring extensive research. They made significant improvements to the app’s codebase and the integration with Unity. New analytics tools, including Smartlook and A/B testing, were also implemented. As a result of the team's dedication, eargym launched an updated version of the app that offers a significantly enhanced user experience, new games, a Learn Tab with valuable information on hearing health, and a gamification system that encourages daily exercises. Furthermore, the app's structure was redefined to include a subscription business model, along with the establishment of analytics and research metrics. Ordering from an international store is easier than ever with the myMeest app, which serves as a bridge between consumers and overseas sellers, enhancing the experience of global online shopping. One of the main challenges we faced while developing the myMeest app was organizing extensive shipment data into a clear and standardized format. To tackle this, we created a system of icons, implemented various filters, and opted for straightforward color schemes. Additionally, we designed a comprehensive user journey map to define the entire action logic. With myMeest, users can create and oversee shipments, select warehouses from multiple locations worldwide, and make payments right within the app. There’s no need to worry about lost parcels anymore; users can track their orders in real-time and receive immediate updates from both stores and warehouses. The final result is a sleek and user-friendly mobile app that allows users to have complete control over their packages with just a few clicks. myMeest guides users intuitively through each step, from placing an order to picking up their parcel in the destination country. Burn is a comprehensive fitness application that equips users with all the essentials for home workouts and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Our team’s initial goal was to ensure that all app materials could be downloaded and were compatible with other platforms, such as Burn’s website and social media. To achieve this, we created a cohesive design system for all materials across these channels. An interesting aspect of Burn is that the client approached us not only for a mobile app design to be created from scratch but also for a website redesign. Consequently, we kicked off the project by designing distinct UI/UX interfaces for both the website and mobile app. The end result was a set of web and mobile solutions that featured a consistent and recognizable user interface. The new platforms host a wealth of content, including the users' favorite materials and new features like offline video availability. Burn offers a variety of fitness resources, ranging from downloadable workout videos to meal plans with recipes.
