Our Journey We are Percept Brand Design, a creative agency based in Sydney that was established in 1997. Our team, consisting of nine strategic thinkers and brand designers, specializes in integrated branding, packaging design, marketing communications, as well as digital and website design. Having completed over 10,000 projects for more than 1,000 clients, we blend collaborative studio work, client-centered values, and an effective process to enhance perception, visibility, performance, and profitability across various industries.

Energy Bay

Corporate branding agency Percept was enlisted by Energy Bay to develop a new identity design aimed at refreshing the brand's positioning and image in comparison to competitors. Recognizing the need to rejuvenate their business, Energy Bay sought to convey their relevance in the current market. To achieve this, they partnered with Percept for a rebranding process that focused on redefining their positioning. Founded in 2016 to aid Australia's transition to clean energy, Energy Bay has developed significant expertise in Distributed Energy Resources and an all-encompassing delivery model from feasibility to optimization. Percept's identity design embodies integration, structure, and technical authority. A symmetrical, radial logo symbolizes energy flow and engineered systems, reflecting the harmony of multiple inputs within a controlled framework. The updated wordmark maintains the value of the existing corporate branding and emphasizes stability, projecting a strong enterprise image. The design of the website was executed comprehensively, covering both front-end and back-end development, testing, and deployment, ensuring its performance, reliability, and scalability align with the brand's promise. Energy Bay now boasts an identity design that accurately represents its operations—integrated, thorough, and geared for long-term success.

Mizzica

With expertise in branding and packaging design, Percept was the ideal choice for this beverage brand design undertaking. Mizzica is a smooth Italian crema liqueur crafted to captivate the contemporary Australian market. Rooted in Sicilian heritage and featuring a flavorful recipe, this drink is intended for relaxation after dinner. The branding and packaging design for this distinctive alcoholic beverage needed to resonate with a modern and inviting vibe, ensuring it stands out on the shelves. The liqueur category often presents conflicting messages and tensions with traditional norms. Cream-based liqueurs are typically viewed as heavy, outdated, or excessively indulgent, with many brands relying on traditional elements that can seem unapproachable to younger consumers. Additionally, the packaging had to make a strong visual impact while adhering to Australian regulatory standards. Ultimately, the branding and packaging design embodies an Italian lifestyle rather than an Italian history. It conveys a sense of celebration while remaining refined, artisanal yet approachable—a brand designed to thrive across packaging, print, digital marketing, and future product line expansions.

Sweat Digital Agency

Sweat Digital emerged from a love for fitness and brand marketing but required a more precise brand strategy to reinforce its leadership in the field. Although the marketing agency was achieving solid results for its clients, its branding lacked the clarity and authority needed to differentiate itself in a growing competitive market, which was slowing down its desired growth. Branding expert Percept recognized the need for change through a brand assessment workshop, where they examined Sweat’s goals, assessed its market position, and identified critical growth opportunities. The new branding design symbolizes the agency's commitment to advancing fitness for all its clients. The color palette throughout the brand identity is inspired by exercise heat maps, featuring lively purples, yellows, and burnt oranges that form dynamic gradients reflecting the energy and transformation inherent to the fitness sector. Every aspect of the branding design harmonizes to create a strong, cohesive presence across various applications, including digital platforms, social media, campaign visuals, and marketing materials. The outcome is a rebranding that not only stands out but also motivates action.
