SpongeBob SquarePants Kamp Koral
To celebrate the launch of a new SpongeBob SquarePants series, Nickelodeon offered an entertaining game along with exciting prizes for kids to win! As a leading children’s TV network, Nickelodeon is well-acquainted with fun and engaging activities, and few cartoons are as recognizable as SpongeBob SquarePants. When they set out to develop an online game called "Kamp Koral" for their young audiences in Germany and Poland, they sought a trustworthy partner to help realize their creative vision. The game, titled Kamp Koral – Swim and Win!, was created in collaboration with Nickelodeon, faithfully recreating the underwater environment from Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years. Using a modified version of the flyer game engine, complete with bubble jetpacks, gold coins, and jellyfish to dodge, the game took shape. To cater to the different local audiences, Peek & Poke developed two game versions with translations in German and Polish. This game was part of a broader marketing initiative for the show's launch, utilizing various platforms including on-air, digital media, outdoor advertising, print, radio, Spotify, and social media. Players had the chance to win exciting prizes like toys, video games, and official SpongeBob merchandise! With over 13,000 players engaging in around 275,000 games and an average playtime of nearly 18 minutes, it’s clear that Kamp Koral resonated with the young audience. "Peek & Poke exceeded our high creative expectations to represent our brand and intellectual properties with respect, ensuring that the final product was infused with fun and personality!" said Brooke Trezise, Creative Project Manager at ViacomCBS.
