Residential communities have a distinct obligation to ensure their residents feel secure, connected, and well-managed. When Swan Evergreen Village by Origin contacted us in the spring of 2023, their network infrastructure was not meeting these expectations. Outdated residential-grade equipment was struggling to support the entire community, wireless coverage was inconsistent, and their camera and security systems required significant upgrades. They sought a technology partner who could comprehend both the human aspect of their environment and the technical expertise needed for a proper solution. Over the course of twelve weeks, we designed and implemented a comprehensive network and security overhaul for the property. Old equipment was replaced with commercial-grade infrastructure capable of meeting the scale and reliability needs of a residential community. We redesigned the wireless access to ensure consistent and robust coverage throughout the facility—providing a dependable service for both residents and staff. In addition to enhancing the network, we installed a complete video surveillance system and upgraded front desk and building security services, resulting in a layered, integrated security framework that safeguards residents and staff alike. Our IT strategy consulting defined the overall project scope, while ongoing managed services will maintain system performance well beyond the initial deployment. The outcome is a community that operates at a higher standard, backed by the necessary infrastructure. New Office Deployment

Airdrie Central Dental

Launching a new dental office involves a complex blend of construction, logistics, and technology implementation happening simultaneously, and the IT aspect can't afford to be delayed. When Airdrie Central Dental, a long-time client, opened a new location in 2025, they relied on us to handle the technological setup from the ground up. This trust was crucial; we weren't beginning from scratch in our relationship, enabling us to act swiftly, make informed choices, and synchronize with a fast-paced construction schedule. We managed the sourcing and acquisition of all the necessary hardware and equipment for the new office, coordinating deliveries and installations amidst ongoing construction and the frequent presence of contractors. In addition to the physical infrastructure, we integrated specialized dental practice software with Airdrie Central's existing systems, allowing staff to operate effectively from day one without the need to adapt to a new system or juggle incompatible tools. Our virtual CIO services kept strategic initiatives aligned throughout the process, while our efforts in cloud consulting, IT governance, data privacy, and IT service management ensured that the new location upheld the same security, compliance, and operational standards as their original office. Demir Engineering
