Pavo & Tusker Innovations is a startup focused on "Engineering Innovations," dedicated to helping both startup entrepreneurs and established businesses turn their innovative ideas into reality using advanced technologies like AI and ML, along with contemporary software engineering practices. We have developed scalable platforms for AutoML in Big Data, cryptocurrency trading, and tackling computer vision challenges. Our philosophy is reflected in our name: "Pavo," representing a white peacock that embodies "Empathy," which guides our approach in partnering with clients to realize their design and development visions. "Tusker" symbolizes a blue elephant, representing "wisdom," which we provide to our clients through sophisticated data and information engineering. Our enthusiastic team of multilingual developers focuses intently on creating customer solutions and suggesting improvements for enhanced outcomes. We employ design thinking and customer brainstorming techniques using mind maps, user stories, empathy canvases, and user journeys visualized on Miro boards. Our agile execution involves utilizing Trello and Jira for communication during standup meetings, along with a product wiki created in Notion. For technological solutions, we apply cloud-native architectural patterns, including microservices, serverless computing, and event sourcing. Our backend technology stack features Elixir/Phoenix, Python/Flask/Tornado, and NodeJS/Typescript, complemented by message brokers like RabbitMQ and MQTT, while employing tools such as Celery, Airflow, GraphQL, REST, WebSocket, Pub/Sub, and Kubernetes (EKS and KOPS) along with Docker containers. Our database options include Postgres, MongoDB, and MySQL, while our DevOps practices involve Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, and SonarQube. We follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) methods using ExUnit, Benchee, Artillery, Postman, and Jest. For application performance monitoring (APM), we utilize NewRelic, Datadog, AppSignal, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, and integrate third-party APIs such as GetStream, PayPal, Stripe, OneSignal, Binance, Coinbase, and Auth0. Our machine learning pipelines incorporate Scikit-Learn, H20 Sparkling Water, and Apache Spark. For computer vision and AI tasks, we utilize OpenCV and TensorFlow, while the front end is developed with ReactJS and Apollo. Our quality assurance includes manual test case execution, automated testing with Selenium, Cucumber, and BrowserStack, as well as backend testing automation using Postman.
