Parikshit Rao, originally from Bangalore and raised in Mumbai, is a seasoned editorial and commercial photographer known for his dynamic work across India. Since 2006, he has contributed travel photography and writing to prestigious national and international magazines. His tenure as Senior Photographer at TimeOut Mumbai unveiled the city's hidden gems to its readers. Parikshit also served as Photo Editor for Microsoft's MSN US team and led the visual content department at Little Black Book across three Indian cities. Now a freelance professional operating from New Delhi, Mumbai, and Himachal Pradesh, he is represented by Wonderful Machine and contributes exclusively to Getty Images Custom Content. Multi-city, on-location Corporate Lifestyle shoot

L&T Mindtree

Global IT leader Mindtree engaged us for a commercial corporate photography project in India. The objective was to create genuine images that showcased their contemporary work environment and technical expertise while providing a comprehensive view of their office spaces and campuses. Captured at the company's Bhubaneshwar and Bangalore locations, the shoot combined architectural, interior, candid, and posed portrait/group photography. Utilizing actual employees, we crafted various scenarios across different sites and exceeded client expectations by providing a wide array of photographs for their corporate image library. These images continue to be utilized on the company website, in annual reports, recruitment and branding initiatives, and other marketing materials.

On-location Corporate Lifestyle photography

Gen

A corporate photography session was conducted in Chennai, India, for the international IT security firm Gen Digital. The objective was to capture genuine images and video content that showcased their staff and lively work environment for a global rebranding initiative. The shoot took place at the company's Chennai office, previously named Norton Lifelock, and included a combination of individual portraits featuring Gen's new logo and brand colors, as well as action shots and B-roll footage. Utilizing real employees, my adaptable team concentrated on Gen's CSR initiatives and portraits of young talent in authentic scenarios throughout two floors of the campus in just one day's shoot, exceeding client expectations by providing a comprehensive collection of photos and video for their corporate image archive.

Documentary Photography for clothing startup

Rani & Reine

I assisted the German startup Rani & Reine in reaching their branding objectives by producing documentary-style photographs specifically for their launch campaign. The artists were photographed on-site in Himachal Pradesh over several weeks, and interviews with them were conducted to aid in developing the website content for the client.
