"Morshynska with aromas" packaging design

Background: Morshynska is a leading brand within the IDS Borjomi Ukraine group, which is part of a major international conglomerate and a top player in the mineral water sector across Ukraine, CIS, and the Baltic region under IDS Borjomi International. Challenge: The task was to create a design concept for a new line of flavored waters under the Morshynska brand, positioned as a middle ground between carbonated and sweet beverages. Solution: The target consumers of flavored water are trend-conscious individuals who value natural options, prioritize their health, and maintain an active lifestyle. The design needed to communicate the product's key attributes—naturalness, freshness, and low calorie content. Additionally, it was essential to ensure that consumers would not view this line as sugary water. We maintained the large, recognizable red brand logo while incorporating a clean and subtle illustration of fruits. Instead of showing whole fruits, we depicted them integrated into water bubbles to reflect its high carbonation. The overall design is modern, light, and refreshing, effectively conveying the essence of this new offering: natural sparkling water with a delicate flavor and an aromatic blend of fruits and berries, while seamlessly aligning with the overall Morshynska product line. The label prominently features a 0% sugar graphic to highlight that it's a low-calorie, sugar-free option. Morshynska's flavored waters are available in two packaging formats: a 0.33L can and a 1.5L PET bottle, offering three flavors: lemon, lime, and mint; white strawberry and wild berries; and honey pear.

"Chebaturochka" rebrand

**Background** Since 2013, the Vladimir-Volynskaya poultry farm has been producing goods under the Chebaturochka brand, raising chickens in natural conditions with natural grain feed and pure artesian water. This enterprise ranks among the three largest chicken meat producers in the country. In 2020, they approached us with the objective of rebranding Chebaturochka to help it stand out in a crowded market. **Challenge** The task involved rebranding, creating a new logo, and establishing a corporate identity while retaining the original name. The primary goal was to develop a vibrant new identity and distinctive features for the brand. **Solution** The graphic design concept centers around a new logo for Chebaturochka, depicting a colorful portrait of a village chicken adorned in folk-inspired red beads, drawing inspiration from the folklore associated with the brand. An analysis of the packaging in key retail chains revealed that green packaging was commonly used by chicken meat producers, symbolizing environmental friendliness and naturalness in public perception. Collaborating with the client, we decided to pursue a bold color differentiation strategy, settling on a unique blue color scheme — representing the sky, air, water, and freshness. This blue packaging effectively set Chebaturochka apart on store shelves and conveyed the freshness and natural quality of the product, affirming that a true village chicken — Chebaturochka, originates from the Volyn region, known for being one of Ukraine's most ecologically friendly areas. For packaging decoration, we created landscape illustrations that complemented the brand image, while all essential product information is presented in a separate text block for easy readability.

"Garmoniya" rebranding

"Harmoniya" is a brand under the "Lubensky Dairy Plant," a dairy product manufacturer located in Ukraine's Poltava region. Established in 1937, LDP is one of Ukraine's longest-standing food enterprises. While the company has established a strong local presence, its sales in the national market were lacking. The existing business model did not allow for production cost reductions like those achieved by mass-market or premium competitors with larger volumes, price flexibility, and access to their own raw materials. Moreover, "Harmoniya" lacked recognition beyond the Poltava area, and consumers did not have a clear understanding of the brand’s identity, values, or competitive advantages. To address declining sales and achieve success in the national market, the brand required a comprehensive marketing overhaul that encompassed all business processes, including a new strategy, repositioning, and strengthening the marketing-sales connection. We recognized that diligent and systematic work on every key component of the marketing mix was essential. The challenges of managing a large dairy brand, with its diverse product lines and varied target audiences, alongside significant price sensitivity and rational purchase decisions, necessitated thorough research and analysis. What we accomplished: - Conducted a business audit and market analysis - Developed an assortment and product strategy - Enhanced branding RESULTS The revamped brand launched in late April 2021. By early June, significant changes were observed: 1. Buyers from chains, distributors, and retailers had updated perceptions of the brand. 2. The refreshed "Harmoniya" was introduced in national chains such as "Varus," "Novus," and "Klass" (Kharkiv), a feat not achieved by the previous branding. 3. Retail turnover surged by 15 to 30% across different product categories.
