**Project Summary** The Institute of Design at Nirma University (IDNU) sought an eye-catching and engaging brochure to attract potential students and their families during the university's annual Open Day. The goal was to highlight the curriculum, academic offerings, and the vibrant experiences of IDNU’s student body through a carefully crafted visual and editorial presentation. **Visual Aesthetic:** The brochure utilized a color scheme centered around primary colors—red, blue, and yellow—with secondary shades created from their mixing, introducing energy and contrast while subtly alluding to core principles of design education. A unique icon on the cover, designed with dots and dashes, cleverly represented "IDNU" in Morse code, serving as a playful homage to design fundamentals. **Creative Process:** We were responsible for the complete creative execution, which included curating existing content, capturing additional photographs, and designing an engaging brochure layout that embodied the essence of the design school. **Project Components:** - Content Curating & Visual Storyboarding - On-Campus Photography & Asset Integration - Brochure Layout Design & Print Preparation - Visual Identity Elements & Iconography Design **Design Strategy:** Instead of merely presenting academic details, the design aimed to immerse readers in the studio atmosphere and daily life at IDNU. By employing lively, process-oriented layouts inspired by student work, we created a narrative that felt dynamic and genuine—intuitive for students while still informative for parents. **Typography:** For headings, we used Noto Serif to convey an academic and stylish feel, paired with Helvetica for the body text—a clean, legible font that balanced the expressive visuals and improved readability throughout the brochure. With a deliberate approach to layout design, storytelling, and a sophisticated visual language, we assisted IDNU in conveying its educational values and student experiences in a manner that was both informative and emotionally resonant.
