We also undertook the task of refining their content to present their products and services with greater simplicity and transparency. This partnership led to heightened client engagement and an immediate rise in customer confidence, particularly through digital channels. La Panadera is a contemporary Spanish bakery that incorporates traditional methods and ingredients with an Asian influence. They ensure the freshness of their pastries by baking daily with premium ingredients. One Plus Seven was commissioned to create packaging for their new Palmier collection. Our objective was to develop a packaging concept that would stand out during the peak gifting season and attract the discerning food lovers in Hong Kong. **The Challenge:** Our main hurdle was to compete with the high-quality gifting food packaging already present in the Hong Kong market. Additionally, the packaging needed to function cohesively as part of a selection box and be suitable for various palmier flavors. The design had to exude luxury and quality while highlighting the product's unique ingredients and flavors. **The Solution:** As a brand focused on fusion pastries, we drew inspiration from various global influences, particularly Japanese minimalism and the bold simplicity of Finnish print design. The packaging was crafted to have impactful shelf presence as an individual item while also complementing a selection box. We opted for minimalist geometric shapes paired with enticing and unexpected colors to highlight the ingredients, as these distinctive flavors are La Panadera's main attraction. The project’s challenge was to encapsulate the essence of the flavors in their simplest form within the constraints of a square box and a two-tone color scheme. The top of the box reflects the minimalist theme of the ingredients, showcasing a stylized illustration of a palmier, effectively reinforcing the product's identity. Throughout our design process, we created the faces of each box to interlock in a checkerboard pattern, offering a tailored and visually appealing gifting experience.

Huamin Fabrics | B2B Rebrand

With more than 40 years of experience in the textiles sector, Huamin Fabrics stands out as a prominent multinational manufacturing company specializing in high-quality textiles. Based in South China and operating throughout Asia with a global sales presence, Huamin Fabrics sought the expertise of One Plus Seven for a rebranding initiative aligned with their strategy for global expansion. The Challenge Despite their vast experience and international operations, Huamin Fabrics faced difficulties in effectively conveying their comprehensive range of services and premium products to customers. Their previous green logo and brand colors did not effectively communicate a sense of professionalism, which limited their ability to build strong relationships with international partners. Moreover, the intricate nature of their textiles and manufacturing processes necessitated a straightforward means of communication. The Solution To tackle these issues, One Plus Seven concentrated on three key areas: rebranding to align with Huamin Fabrics’ market position, enhancing communication with partners and prospective customers through an updated website, and creating a suite of communication tools tailored for their complex products and services. A new bilingual logo was developed in a refined matte gold and dark grey, symbolizing professionalism and quality. Over one hundred unique icons were designed to clearly illustrate the specifics of their fabrics and manufacturing processes, ensuring effective communication and brand consistency. User-friendly collateral, such as swatch cards and catalogs, was thoughtfully created to enhance the customer experience. The tailored brand identity strategically facilitated a smooth rebranding process, reinforcing Huamin Fabrics' standing on the global stage.

MOOON | Website Design

MOOON is a prominent consultancy specializing in event production, focusing on the management and provision of technical equipment and service vendors. One Plus Seven was engaged to provide art direction consulting and to refresh the website, aiming to convey a polished corporate image online. The challenge MOOON encountered was a limited digital footprint and unclear communication with potential clients. In a competitive market, MOOON needed to stand out from its rivals and effectively demonstrate its capabilities and expertise to establish trust from the very first interaction. Together, we identified that the key goal was to develop an elevated art direction and an upgraded website. To tackle this, we collaborated closely with MOOON to clearly define the primary functions and objectives of the website, ensuring it aligned with their business aspirations. This foundational phase enabled us to create a detailed informational architecture to guide visitors seamlessly through the site. We then designed elements that mirrored their branding, encapsulating the essence of their aesthetic. This was achieved by integrating expansive, moody visuals with darker backgrounds and strategic light sources, while also manipulating scale. As a result, the website evolved into a sleek, immersive platform that is responsive on both web and mobile, effectively showcasing MOOON's skills and expertise in a sophisticated and engaging manner. From the moment users arrive at the site, they are enveloped in MOOON's key offerings and striking visuals, encouraging exploration.
