GiveFreely iOS App, Safari App and Safari Ext
The aim of this project is to develop an iOS app, Safari app, and Safari extension for the Company’s GiveFreely product. Currently, the Company offers a browser extension named Give Freely that applies coupons while users shop at partner stores and donates the affiliate fees paid by those stores to a charity of the user's choice. This project involves fully adapting the product, minus shared back-end services (like donation processing), from a desktop (Chrome/Edge) setting to an iPhone/Safari environment. The feature specifications and product expectations dictate that all available functionalities on the desktop version will be implemented on Safari for iPhone, adjusted as needed for Apple's app ecosystem, including the process for installing extensions in Safari on an iPhone, and a user experience that suits the smaller screen size. The final deliverable will be an iOS app named Give Freely, which, once downloaded and activated, will install the browser extension in Safari (following the registration process of the desktop version) and include visual instructions for users. The browsing experience with Give Freely installed on iPhone Safari will replicate the desktop/Chrome experience. Instructions for installing the browser extension should resemble the method outlined by Capital One Shopping. After the project is completed, a Service Level Agreement (SLA) will commence with dedicated developer support.
