Targeted Product Recommendations Through the Power of AI

Unknown

Diagnosing crop diseases is nearly impossible without extensive expertise in the subject. A manufacturer of crop disease treatments realized that their products wouldn't be utilized effectively if customers lacked the essential information to make well-informed buying choices. Treatment suggestions are only useful if the disease has been accurately identified. To address this issue, the biochemical company enlisted our team to create a digital solution that would allow for precise product recommendations to be delivered to farmers globally, eliminating the need for plant pathologists to be sent into the field for every diagnosis. Our engineers worked closely with the client’s team to design and develop an innovative mobile application that enables farmers to take pictures of infected crops and receive accurate diagnoses on their mobile devices almost instantly. The app can then identify the appropriate solution and provide genuinely useful product recommendations. This diagnostic process utilizes advanced image analysis powered by machine learning. As a result, our client significantly enhanced its customer service by offering the precise recommendations required to resolve each farmer’s unique issues. Farmers can now save time and money by making informed purchasing decisions that effectively address their needs. Overall, this solution not only has positive environmental effects but also greatly improved consumer trust in the brand and fostered more favorable interactions between the company and its customers.
