About the Team
OUR STORY
Nullarbor Timber, led by Managing Director Brendan Donchi, proudly stands as Australia's pioneering reclaimed timber company, tracing its origins to the 1800s with the Donchi family's deep-rooted involvement in the timber industry. Founded on a legacy of timber expertise spanning generations, the company was Australia's first registered timber recycler, showcasing an early commitment to sustainable practices. Brendan's father, Barry Donchi, revolutionized the industry in the 1980s by establishing a world-first milling plant focused on salvaging seasoned timbers, embodying the family's ethos of valuing resources and minimizing waste. Today, Nullarbor Timber combines traditional knowledge with advanced milling techniques to provide high-quality, sustainable Australian hardwoods, catering to builders and designers who seek environmentally friendly and versatile materials for contemporary projects.
