Over 100 employees located in various states were reliant on an on-premises Remote Desktop Server situated in Illinois to retrieve their files and data. This arrangement was insufficient as it hindered real-time collaboration. Additionally, accessing files on the Remote Desktop Server from remote locations proved challenging for employees. The server software did not allow all files to be accessed across all devices. Furthermore, the organization struggled with data control, as employees were saving multiple versions of the same file in different locations, leading to data sprawl and restricting the firm’s ability to recover from potential data losses. **The Solution** In search of a resolution, Bryles Research turned to Ntiva, its Managed Service Provider since 2010. The Ntiva team conducted an analysis to identify the company's needs, assess its existing file structure, and review current users, security groups, and access permissions. They then transitioned the company's files from the on-premises server to SharePoint Online.
