DriveWealth

The executive team at DriveWealth reached out to our founder, Dilip Ramachandran, to address a challenge they were facing. They were accustomed to an enterprise sales approach and needed insights on how they stacked up against more developer-friendly options like Alpaca. They sought a collaborator to conduct a competitive analysis and develop a strategy to enhance their APIs, documentation, and overall developer experience, and then to implement that plan. The Nimi Solution included the following components: **Self-Service Onboarding**: Nimi created and launched a streamlined onboarding process, enabling developers to set up a personalized sandbox in just minutes rather than days. This facilitated the transformation of their ideas into reality without requiring human assistance. **Developer Documentation**: Although there was existing, comprehensive documentation, it was challenging for new developers to navigate and comprehend. We collaborated with a technical writer to distill the information into four straightforward and actionable guides for developers. **Developer Dashboard**: With external developers now creating their own products, there was a demand for tools to manage key access, SQS, logging, and to populate the sandbox with sample data. Nimi designed and implemented this functionality within the dashboard. **API First Development**: Our team offered recommendations for API design and development and established best practices. Working alongside the DriveWealth team, we transitioned the API library to Stoplight.io to promote a design-first approach to API service development.

Stripe Integration for Restaurant Commerce

EatMe Global

To qualify for their upcoming funding round, EatMe needed to integrate with Stripe within a four-week timeframe. Given the difficulty of finding dependable talent in that period, they turned to Nimi, experts in FinTech integrations. The Nimi Solution comprised: 1. **Stripe Integration**: Nimi linked the EatMe dashboard to Stripe, creating a straightforward onboarding experience that allows merchants to set up their Stripe accounts with just a few clicks. 2. **Transfer Payouts**: Since transactions for delivery orders can occur at any time, Nimi added a batch processing module to manage payouts via the Stripe API, streamlining the reconciliation process. 3. **Enabled Payouts**: To ease the administrative burden for merchants already integrated into the Stripe ecosystem, Nimi incorporated the Stripe Connect dashboard directly into the restaurant manager interface.

Daily Dogfights

The creator of Daily Dogfights had previously collaborated with a mobile development firm that failed to meet their expectations. The Daily Dogfights team sought a product development partner capable of grasping the intricacies of golf game logic and designing innovative user interfaces tailored to the specific needs of professional golfers. With Nimi, our focus included: In-House App and Web Design: Our design team completely overhauled the app's workflow, significantly enhancing the experience for golfers. We streamlined the entire process, shifting the complexity to the backend APIs that effectively calculated scores and outcomes. Additionally, Nimi revamped the Daily Dogfights website and transitioned it to Webflow, allowing the founders to easily update the site as the app developed. Immersive Gameplay: The app's initial version supported four different games (Wolf, Nassau, Round Robin, and Skins). The Nimi team utilized information from iGolf and GHIN APIs to offer valuable insights about the golf course, player handicaps, their positions on the course, and real-time performance with just a click. Real-time Scorecard: The Nimi team enhanced the scorecard experience, enabling golfers to abandon paper scorecards and focus more on enjoying the game with friends, while confidently relying on the app for accurate score calculations. Payments & Payouts: We incorporated popular peer-to-peer payment platforms like Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, and Apple Pay, allowing golfers to easily settle payments at the end of matches. We integrated payment and payout features within the gaming experience so that golfers always know their winnings and dues across all the games they played.
