**Background** n8n is a SaaS company based in Berlin that provides a robust workflow automation platform with source availability. As their product expanded, their marketing and content requirements exceeded the capabilities of the existing website infrastructure. They sought a high-performing, SEO-optimized, and scalable site capable of handling extensive API-driven content creation while granting their marketing team greater independence. **Challenge & Goal** The previous website needed significant developer support and depended on manual SEO processes. The increasing number of API integrations (such as Strapi, Ghost, and Google Sheets/Drive) resulted in latency, rate-limiting, and build-time challenges. n8n aimed to enhance performance, simplify content workflows, and facilitate large-scale automated page generation with minimal technical input. **Effects** We revamped the site using Nuxt.js with a hybrid rendering strategy (combining SSR and static rendering), backed by caching and Cloudflare edge workers. This approach enabled API responses to be pre-fetched and stored locally, significantly reducing build times and API requests. With automated SEO features, dynamic metadata, and improved content management, marketers were empowered to operate without developer assistance.
