About the Team
OUR STORY
Founded in 2003 by a dedicated team of developers in Kharkiv, Ukraine, MyOwnConference has followed a steadfast philosophy: create software that operates so seamlessly it becomes almost invisible. Eschewing flashy designs, the focus has always been on efficiency, speed, and reliability. Over two decades, this approach evolved through real-world challenges, leading to the establishment of Akovana, UAB in Lithuania, and the launch of the MyOwnConference webinar platform. Transitioning early to HTML5 and developing proprietary broadcasting technology enabled low-latency, high-quality streams globally. Despite obstacles, including the 2020 pandemic surge and the 2022 Ukrainian conflict, the team persevered, rebuilding infrastructure and refining technology. Today, MyOwnConference delivers sub-second latency webinars to thousands worldwide, continuously innovating and embodying a commitment to excellence and simplicity.
