Plantis - mobile app for gardeners

Zielone Pogotowie

In December 2022, we began a partnership with Zielone Pogotowie, a well-known company that offers a wide array of products and services for gardening enthusiasts. Their main focus has been on creating gardens and outdoor areas. In 2014, they expanded into the digital content space by starting a YouTube channel aimed at gardening fans. This venture led to the launch of Plantis, a mobile app that has quickly become the most recognized app of its type in Poland, achieving over 100,000 downloads on Google Play and attracting more than 440,000 subscribers on YouTube. Zielone Pogotowie has established itself as a leader in the gardening sector. However, the app did not meet initial expectations, and the owners had previously faced challenges with other software development firms, having worked with two prior companies before reaching out to us. What issues arose in those earlier collaborations, and how did we respond? Challenges: Solutions: Taking over a project without existing documentation can be difficult, but we have developed effective approaches. We started with an evaluation of the existing code and worked closely with the client to grasp their objectives and the project's challenges. We performed manual testing and utilized the Scrum methodology to ensure consistent communication with the client. As we moved forward, we documented key aspects such as architecture, data models, and dependencies. Results:

Vibe

In September 2020, Vibe reached out to us, embarking on a goal to consolidate product offerings from stores nationwide and enhance accessibility through financing options. Their focus is on renting cars and musical instruments with flexible installment plans, all easily managed via their website. They effectively integrate the offerings of their commercial partners, ensuring that high-quality instruments and vehicles are accessible to everyone. We assisted them in developing a sophisticated fintech solution that guarantees data security and assesses client solvency. Challenges Encountered: Throughout the project, Vibe faced several significant hurdles, including: creating a complex fintech solution, managing intricate data calculations like creditworthiness evaluations and sensitive data verification, connecting external stores with their internal e-commerce system, devising a process for installment payments, and building administrative panels for both management and customers. They also needed to integrate with various services, including BIK, KRS, CEIDG, Google Maps (for address verification), and payment gateways, while conducting credit assessments and checks on sensitive data. Implemented Solution: To address these challenges, we developed a multi-layered application utilizing a RestAPI, which facilitated smooth integration with partner stores and allowed customers to rent with flexible installment options. Results Achieved: The project yielded remarkable outcomes, including significant annual growth, increased activation rates, a broader range of product offerings, an expanding customer base, and new investor interest. In conclusion, we supported Vibe in streamlining creditworthiness evaluations while providing a diverse array of features and services through their cutting-edge fintech platform.

Buglo, a leading manufacturer of playground equipment in Poland, is recognized for pioneering trends and developing three-dimensional product concepts and visualizations for playgrounds. Their innovative approach led to a collaboration with Viscircle, a German firm, to create the Playground 3D Visualizer. However, linking the visualizer to the administration panel proved to be a challenge, which is where we came in as their savior (😏). We built a tailored web application, managed both backend and frontend integration, and ensured an effortless user experience. **Challenge:** Buglo required a partner to integrate a project management system for playground initiatives and improve their backend infrastructure. **Solution Implemented:** We developed a custom web application that integrates smoothly with Buglo's existing systems. This application enables Buglo to efficiently manage and design playground projects using a 3D configurator. It enhances project management, version control, and expands the backend framework for the configurator, simplifying the job for architects and designers. **Results Achieved:** The implemented application has produced significant outcomes. **Additional Note: International Collaboration** The project clearly demonstrated our ability to work dynamically with another software company. This collaboration led to a fruitful exchange of knowledge, with each team offering its distinct strengths and insights, ultimately resulting in the project's notable international success.
