Rayson Legal Enhances IT Performance While Strengthening Security and Data Access Flexibility Rayson Legal is a specialized law firm based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, with extensive experience predominantly in Family Law, an area known for its complexity. The Rayson team takes pride in resolving a wide array of related issues, including trust, property, support, custody, and cases concerning child mobility and abduction under the Hague Convention. **The Challenge** When the leadership at Rayson reached out to MBC, they were using a five-year-old server that was unstable and needed daily reboots. Their main concern was the risk of data corruption or loss, along with the anxiety that one day the server might fail to start altogether. Another issue was that employees could only access files remotely through a VPN, which required a constant internet connection. Also, the team relied on an outdated business application that could only operate on the internal network within the office. Since many lawyers frequently work offsite, they needed a solution that would allow them to work from anywhere and easily access all necessary resources. **The Solution** In response to these challenges, MBC developed a hybrid solution aimed at streamlining Rayson’s operations, addressing all concerns using a combination of Public Cloud, MBC Private Cloud, as well as enhanced Security and Backup measures.

By utilizing AMAG's products and services, utilities can achieve notable enhancements in safety, maintenance efficiency, and operational costs. The Challenge: AMAG planned to move to a new office and viewed this as an opportunity to enhance employee facilities, including a new boardroom, an updated office space, and an expanded cubicle area. As AMAG's existing IT service provider, MBC was tasked with developing a strategy to migrate all of the company's IT assets, taking into account the special IT arrangements established during the pandemic. The migration needed to be executed without disrupting the workflows of both in-office and remote employees. The Solution: With extensive experience managing office relocation projects, the MBC Account Services team worked closely with AMAG to comprehend the new office layout, identify IT infrastructure needs, and plan the power and data cabling as well as wireless connectivity for every workstation and endpoint. After finalizing the requirements, MBC evaluated the current IT assets to assess their effectiveness, consolidating technology where feasible and determining which items were unnecessary and could be left behind. Once the design was completed and the move was orchestrated, the MBC team reached out to a reliable local Internet Service Provider (ISP) to secure service in advance, ensuring stable Internet connectivity.
