AI Companion Visualization for a US App

Journey

Journey is an AI-driven chat room featuring an empathetic conversational partner. Users can engage in open discussions, flirt, argue, or even request a 'handshake' from the character. We aimed to create a visual representation of a wide array of emotions—such as interest, sympathy, excitement, joy, sadness, anger, indifference, and thoughtfulness—while ensuring that emotions can fluidly transition from one to another instead of relying solely on pre-set animations. A major challenge of this project was integrating the character's emotional expressions with chat interactions, requiring the character to respond warmly to kind words and exhibit sadness in reaction to negative comments. We not only designed the character's appearance and crafted the necessary animation scripts, but we also developed algorithms that allow various chat inputs—such as spoken words, screen interactions, tone, and conversation length—to influence smooth changes in the character's form and emotional display. Furthermore, the space around the character is filled with diverse "thoughts" and "insights" that gracefully appear in the background. Ultimately, we created a coherent concept for expressing emotions that can potentially be adapted for any AI-related projects. We found that there are universal abstract forms that effectively convey complex psychological states without relying on human-like characteristics. UX/UI and Branding for a Global Mobile Operator

MTX Connect

We assisted MTX Connect in establishing a trustworthy brand for travelers. MTX, a global mobile operator, provides internet connectivity via eSIMs. The company sought our help to revamp its digital communication. Their previous website failed to showcase the product's benefits; it was overly technical, outdated, and difficult to navigate. We reimagined the brand and website based on realistic travel experiences. Rather than using tables and complex pricing charts, we implemented well-organized tariff cards, straightforward product details, and a more user-friendly layout. The project encompassed a complete brand overhaul, UX design, and advertising materials. As a result, MTX now enjoys a cohesive and contemporary online presence that emphasizes its main strengths and sets it apart from budget competitors.

Rebranding of an International Programming School

Algorithmics

Alongside the Algorithmics team, we introduced the term “Hooligan Curiosity” to encapsulate the school's fundamental values: game-based education, a student-centered teaching method, and the encouragement of students' innate interests. This idea led us to formulate a new, "cosmic" vision for the future school. Vibrant characters, striking avatars, and captivating graphics blend various styles and a spectrum of colors, bringing the Algorithmics universe to life and transforming it into a welcoming and enchanting environment for learning and play. Given the school’s complex range of offerings, we established a design system where each faculty is represented by a unique geometric shape, and each course features its own design subsystem, including a distinct color scheme, an exclusive avatar, and a variety of small characters. Additionally, we crafted icons, patterns, backgrounds, sample photographs, and mini-illustrations tailored to each course. A cohesive design is achieved through an original illustration style and shared design elements like graphics and fonts. We developed a comprehensive style guide and brand book for the widespread Algorithmics franchise, granting the brand a fresh, unique identity, a complete set of design resources for implementing this new look across its global network, and a clear vision for the evolution of the design in the future.
