Created Academy

The project brief was to build a versatile CMS-enabled website that would enable Created to manage and expand their online presence as their business and product offerings rapidly grew. The Created team was referred to us by one of our current clients. As a startup, they sought a budget-friendly website solution supported by a CMS. Being a creative team themselves and having conducted thorough customer research, they were eager to take charge of the design process, providing us with a set of responsive wireframes crafted using the popular Sketch tool. From these wireframes, we developed the first iteration of created.academy, utilizing a WordPress CMS and our adaptable block system, which empowered the Created team to create their own web pages from the ground up. This block system offered flexibility within a structured framework, ensuring the website maintained a cohesive identity and intuitive user experience. As both the business and website expanded, the need for more versatile content blocks grew as well. These were defined and discussed with the internal marketing team and delivered in short development cycles, allowing the business to scale effortlessly. Since Created offers design courses, including Motion Design, the site featured a significant amount of video and image content. To prevent any slowdown, we established predefined content blocks for each content type, ensuring uniformity in appearance while optimizing loading speeds. Additionally, Created integrated marketing technologies such as HubSpot, Google marketing tools, and various social media platforms, all of which we assisted in automating and integrating. Regrettably, Created Academy is no longer operational, and thus their website is inactive, but these snapshots showcase their impressive brand and online presence.

We collaborated with our agency partner to execute a prominent campaign across various social media platforms in several countries. The project was completed on schedule, within budget, and surpassed expectations at every phase. **The Brief** The concept was straightforward: users would take a quiz to find out which iconic character from about 15 TV series best matched their personality. They could then share the results on their social media profiles and learn more about streaming options. **Our Solutions** **Planning** We assisted our agency partner in planning the campaign build, considering all essential factors. This included the ability to: - Present all pages in multiple languages - Automatically showcase the preferred language for each user - Provide links to the most suitable streaming services in each region - Handle high traffic volumes while staying within budget - Collect and analyze usage statistics while complying with privacy regulations **Build** Once our skilled agency partner developed a series of design concepts for the site, we began the construction phase. By implementing best practices and conducting automated tests, we ensured that the site was optimized for users, featuring quick load times, seamless functionality, and an impeccable presentation across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. **Results** Our collaboration led to a highly successful campaign that received extensive visibility on social media in multiple countries. The project was completed on time and within budget. Features like a content management system for translations facilitated the management of the campaign, showcasing our expertise in this area. Well-tested social media integrations significantly boosted the campaign’s effectiveness. An anonymous Head of Digital remarked, "You’re like the SAS! Creating a customer-focused website for a company revolutionizing transportation's future. The task was to develop a scalable, CMS-driven website for Teralytics, a rapidly expanding Swiss firm utilizing big data to enhance the planning, execution, and tracking of travel journeys. We began with a strategic planning phase, engaging in several discussions in Zurich with key stakeholders to determine the structure, appearance, feel, and functionality of the new Teralytics site. We then produced an initial series of page designs that catered to the identified target audiences while aligning with the agreed-upon structure, content, and branding. These designs evolved the existing brand guidelines to fit Teralytics in a digital context. After presenting the initial designs and gaining approval for the new direction, we proceeded to create a comprehensive set of interactive prototypes for both desktop and mobile platforms. With the structure, content strategy, and designs finalized, we advanced to building a sleek, search engine-optimized, user-friendly website that features rich media. Utilizing our adaptable block-based content management system powered by WordPress, Teralytics can fully manage their content, which fits within our established design parameters, ensuring a consistent user experience that aligns with their brand. Given Teralytics' operations across various regions, the website supports multiple languages. The site and CMS are available in English, German, Italian, and Spanish.
